Pubcon Las Vegas 2011
I recently spoke at the 2011 Vegas Pubcon, one of my favorite conferences in the SEO world. This year Blog World decided at the last minute that they should compete and drew many speakers and conference attendees. What a sad and uncool way to setup a conference.
Brett Tabke has worked his literall ass off developing the Pubcon building webmasterworld.com, a great place to learn highly tactical SEO/SEM/Social and many other forms of online advertising. As a 12 year + veteran of the SEO space and the ONLY SEO that came from a real search engine. I think anyone who missed this conference should attend the next one in Hawaii.
The webmasterworld.com site has been a pivotal learning spot for us, year over year. I will not mention the speakers who bailed, but every single one of you should be writing a letter of apology to Brett for ditching him after you legally committed to speak at his conference.
We should support the groups that have helped us for many years. Tim Mayer, one of my past colleges was at the Pubcon and gave his best. The rest of you are flakes and should not speak!
